Some Monday mornings are better than others. Others are worse than some. For one Amazon employee, this past Monday morning was particularly bad.
No doubt, the poor fellow would have been better off he’d called in sick to work. Such a simple decision would have saved him from extreme agony. But, unfortunately, he showed up to Amazon’s Seattle headquarters and put on a public and painful display of madness.
From what we gather, upon arrival, he blasted out an email to hundreds of coworkers, including Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos, outlining several reservations he had with the terms of his ‘Performance Improvement Plan.’ After that, he executed a flawless swan dive off Amazon’s 12-story Apollo building, presumably to his death.
Yet, somehow, he didn’t (Read More....)

Ordinary ideals of Americana range as far and wide as the North American continent. The valued conviction of one American vastly differs from that of another. Joe from Santa Fe may have little connection with Joe in South Bend or Joe in South Boston.
One may celebrate adventures in mysticisms. Another may find inspiration sitting in a college football grandstand. While a third struggles to free himself of the orthodox hobgoblins that suffocate his soul.
Until Donald Trump came along, the story of the national struggle, as outlined by the discredited mainstream media, had been told with delicate regularity. The news was professed from the locus of the two party political system…any diverging views were carefully sifted out. What was reported was only what the story editors allowed to pass through their single micron particulate (Read More....)

The debt based money system plods along according to plan. The Fed offers unlimited credit. Public and private entities borrow and spend it.
One of the more popular delusions of contemporary culture is disbelieving the money will ever have to be repaid. There’s no logical thesis that we are aware of to support this misconception. But it prevails across the general populace all the same.
Day by day, however, the bills come due. They pile up like wrecked autos on the 405 freeway. Over the last 30 years or so they’ve stacked up beyond what the economy can possibly support.
The breaking point was reached in 2008. We are currently living through the interim period of suspended disbelief. Many aren’t quite ready to accept their new fate. This wasn’t what they’d bargained for.
Scientific management of the economy, as executed by the Federal Reserve System, was supposed to perpetually inflate away each generation’s debts. Not too (Read More....)

The twilight receded into the vista of the glowing port lights. Docked container ships melded into the profusion of overhead cranes. Sporadic refinery flares overtook the final sparkles of dusk.
The sun slipped beyond the far side of the Palos Verdes cliffs. We lit a giant bonfire and settled down to its tantalizing flames. The kindling crackled and snapped. Sparkling embers escaped in the light onshore breeze.
School’s back in session tomorrow. But for the under 10-year old crowd we tent camped with last Saturday night at Cabrillo Beach Youth Center, sitting in a classroom was the furthest thing from their mind. Whittling drift wood, tying bowline knots, and kayaking the breakwater were the tasks at hand.
Our vantage point from Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, looking back at the Port of Los Angeles and over to the Port of Long Beach, was a sight for reflection. At this outer peninsula tip the managed chaos of container ships, docks, cranes, semi-trucks and railcars intermingled in (Read More....)

In this my last article I expand on subjects already touched on in previous articles and attempt to draw together the various strands of the socialist totalitarianism currently undermining Western democratic societies – liberation theology, ecology, eugenics, homosexuality, feminism and multiculturalism – all bound together by the tyrannical bonds of political correctness.
The Coming Totalitarian World Of The Power Elites And The Zombie Populations Which Make It Possible
From their places of honor in hell, Marx, Stalin and Mao Zedong must have been laughing, when on arrival in La Paz during his recent tour of South America, Pope Francis was presented with a wooden crucifix carved in the form of a hammer and sickle by Bolivian President Evo Morales. By having the cross formed into a hammer and sickle Morales was effectively replacing the Son of God as the savior of mankind with communism. One of the founders of liberation theology, Peruvian theologian Gustavo Gutierrez, praised the “new atmosphere” under the Italo-Argintine leader of (Read More....)

This booklet is the result of many years of studying and finding connections across a variety of subjects in an effort to understand our world and my place in it. This reflects my honest understanding of the view from my window. This is my considered opinion and only that. It is full of what I believe to be facts but I urge the reader to do his or her own homework. Seek out verification or refutation, for facts are cheap and information is abundant, but knowledge is precious. The world around us is not always what it seems and our understanding of it is limited to our observations and the observations of others we choose to add to our own. The problem is always with verifying the observations of others, including all of the teachers and professors we’ve had. Many of us took (Read More....)
