Up here, near the face of Tahquitz Peak, the summer twilight lingers a little longer. The evening sunshine bends through the tall shady pines and sweet smelling cedars, basking on Idyllwild…the splendor mile high Southern California mountain village. We breathe deeply and exhale gradually. Time slows to the soft rhythm of Strawberry Creek as it meanders through town.
The kids return to school next week. Back to crowded classrooms and common core curriculum. What could possibly be worse? But, at the moment, we’re not ready for them to close the door on summer just yet.

Is that Drone for me? Aw, you shouldn’t have, really . . . with the budget cuts you shouldn’t have!
I use the Drone as an example of excessive use of force. Now they want to use them in the USA.
For one thing, a Drone might cost half a million dollars to produce. I don’t know about anyone else, but that sounds like an awful lot of money.
Drones are known to be terrible shots. The safest place to be is probably the target. Anything around it, like women and children are in jeopardy. At least that is what the reports on the Internet say.
Then there is the bird problem. Birds easily get killed by being in the same air space as a Drone. The problem is the bird takes a Drone out (Read More....)

For those of you who believe that the Messiah—the Son of the Most High—is to be king merely in the hearts of believers, I hope that you ponder the above two verses, and others to be mentioned. For starters, the Messiah is to take the throne on which David sat. David did not rule in people’s hearts, though, at times, David’s actions warmed the hearts of many of his subjects.
